Transforming Lives and Communities
Satayaa Africa Foundation (Satayaa) is a child-focused missionary that works in Africa and the world to equip children between the ages of 7-17 to become confident members of society and empower them to contribute to the development of communities and nations. Satayaa (Sah-tah-yah) which was founded in July 2017 is a homophone for Satire, which is the use of humour, irony, exaggeration or ridicule to expose and criticise vices, particularly in contemporary politics and other topical issues.
Satayaa’s programs develop the following in children:
-
Mental and cognitive well-being
-
Confidence in Identity as individuals, members of family and society
-
Empowerment to become creative innovators and solutionaries against poverty who then become effective contributors to the development of community and society.
